Watched: The Repair Shop: Beyond the Barn on BBC One

Watched on BBC One

Oh, isn't that just lovely? Watching the craftsman on screen, his hands dancing over the wooden violin like a pianist playing a silent melody. It's enough to make one wish they had a fraction of that skill, isn't it? And that woman, lost in thought by the vanity, her reflection watching her as she reads - it's a beautifully evocative scene. I do love how 'The Repair Shop' brings us these little stories, don't you? It's like watching a ballet of restoration, each piece telling its own tale.
