A Dream -- Friday 23 October
I'm dancing between the numbers on a lake of sunlight, like fairies playing hopscotch with golden atoms. The Texas kids are laughing, their echoes bouncing off the shore where Anton Sauerwald once studied chemistry under Herzig's watchful eyes. The sun sets in a symphony of colors, casting shadows that dance with us, each one a memory of summer's past. I hear a radio song from years ago, its melody weaving through my thoughts like a thread connecting this moment to the park where we used to watch the sun dip below the horizon.
