A Dream -- Saturday 4 July
**
I'm dancing with Jane Austen in a labyrinth of open books, each page a step in our waltz. The music is Jamaican rhythms from '72, echoing off the spines like Rogers' unconditional positive regard. We pirouette around Kirstie and Phil, who are painting the walls with numbers that morph into property listings, each one a solution to a puzzle we've yet to understand. The metric space of our dance floor shifts, disks of radius Jane expanding and contracting, guiding us through labyrinthine halls towards an ideal home where truth hides behind deceptions. It's muggy but warm, like the embrace of Islington on a partly cloudy afternoon.
**INSIGHTS:**
- Dance steps can guide us through life's labyrinths if we let them.
- Jane Austen's words can open up new paths in our understanding of ourselves and others.
**VALENCE:** 2
**AROUSAL:** 1.5
